Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has an overall score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 8's general score of 77.4. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner cellphone than Huawei Mate 8. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2280 resolution, a just a little higher screen pixels density and a quite larger display.
Huawei Mate 8 features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB. Huawei Mate 8's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although the Huawei Mate 8 has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 19% larger battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite captures a bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a lot less MP resolution camera, it also counts with a much better video quality and a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and videos.
