These phones use Android OS, but Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Huawei P40 counts with a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both have 8 cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution and a just a bit better number of pixels per screen inch.
The Huawei P40 and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite feature very similar storage capacity to store more apps and games, they have the same 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei P40 features just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity instead of 3350mAh.
