The Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, getting a general score of 85 against 77.7. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M40 has older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Galaxy M40 is a just a little lighter but just a little bit thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
Galaxy M40 has a display that is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite one, and although the Galaxy M40 has a little bit higher count of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, they both have a same size screen. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M40. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores.
