The Galaxy XCover 5 has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's general score of 77.7. Even being the best device in this review, the Galaxy XCover 5 is a just a little heavier and thicker device than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. These phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy XCover 5 has older 11 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a little more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a higher pixels density, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2280 and a bigger display. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features just a little better processing power than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier aperture and a way less MP resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a way better (4K) video resolution. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 12 percent larger battery size.
