Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, getting a general score of 81 against 77.7. Both phones we compare here have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro design is notably heavier and noticeably thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
The Galaxy XCover Pro features a CPU that's very similar to the processing unit in Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although the Galaxy XCover Pro has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy XCover Pro and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite both count with really similar screens, and although the Galaxy XCover Pro has a little better screen pixels density and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, they both have a same size display.
Galaxy XCover Pro features a better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a slightly better camera than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video and a camera in the back with a lot lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a way larger sensor and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Galaxy XCover Pro features better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 21 percent bigger battery capacity.
