Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, having a global score of 78.6 against 77.7. Despite being the best phone in this review, Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's body is somewhat heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has the previous 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a quite better screen density. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
Xperia XA2 Plus has a processor that's just as good as the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite one, they have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 3580mAh battery size instead of 3350mAh. Xperia XA2 Plus captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low-light captures, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a lot higher 23 mega pixels resolution camera and a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
