Comparison review
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a general score of 79.6, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's 77.7 general score. Both phones in this comparison use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi 12 Pro has older 12 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo. Although it's the best in this comparison, Xiaomi 12 Pro is a heavier and a little thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a very superior processor than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi 12 Pro has a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a little larger screen, a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution and a greater pixel amount per inch in the display.
Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite feature really similar memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a very superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has a way better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a way higher video definition, a way more MP back-facing camera and a much larger sensor providing a way better image quality.
