Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, with a global score of 81.4 against 77.7. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version, providing some nice extra features. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a bit higher pixel amount per inch of screen. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and video, a camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE have incredibly similar storage for apps and games, they have equal 128 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a little better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 3350mAh battery size instead of 3070mAh.
