Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max, getting a 77.7 score against 77.5. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's body has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi Max, but it is lighter. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixel density and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a way lower resolution camera, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better low light images.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a much longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity against 3350mAh.
