Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a 77.7 score against 77.5. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it is lighter. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better screen density and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better captures and video in low light environments and a bigger sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 5300mAh battery size.
