Comparison review
The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's general score of 77.7. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro design is heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro's processor is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's processing unit, and although the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2280 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater count of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro captures better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro also has a way more mega pixels camera in the back and a larger aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited environments.
The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a much longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
