Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, having a global score of 82.2 against 75.9. Even being the best phone in this review, it must be noted that it's also noticeably heavier and noticeably thicker. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels, a brighter screen and a lot greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger sensor taking better quality pictures, a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a bigger aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has a 13 percent more battery size.
