Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone, getting a score of 83.3 against 77.1. Even though Xiaomi Mi 8 and Asus ROG Phone were only released 5 months apart, Xiaomi Mi 8 is somewhat lighter and thinner. Asus ROG Phone has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM.
Asus ROG Phone counts with a screen that's very similar to the screen in Xiaomi Mi 8, and although the Asus ROG Phone has a bit smaller display, less brightness and a little bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution, they both have the same number of pixels in each inch in the display. Asus ROG Phone has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 256 GB more internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much better camera than Asus ROG Phone, although it has worse video frame rates, they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the same back camera sensor size and the same (4K) video definition. The Asus ROG Phone counts with improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
