Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than HTC One M9, with an 83.3 score against 77.7. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has a newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction is newer and thinner than HTC One M9's, although it's also heavier.
HTC One M9 has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor. HTC One M9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display.
The HTC One M9 features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photos and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also counts with a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a camera with way more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a much better storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 8 has better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 3400mAh battery size instead of 2840mAh.
