Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, having a general score of 83.3 against 79.2. Although Xiaomi Mi 8 and the Huawei Mate 10 Pro were only released with a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a little thinner and just a little lighter. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit faster processor than Huawei Mate 10 Pro. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and although they both have the same screen density, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a little bit bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2248px resolution. Xiaomi Mi 8 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing images or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same video frame rate and a 12 mega-pixels camera, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 10 Pro has longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has an 18% greater battery size.
