Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro's 82.9 score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi 8 and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro were released only 5 months apart, the Xiaomi Mi 8 is somewhat thinner and a bit lighter. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a bit bigger screen, a better pixels count in each inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 20 Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way better image and video quality.
