Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X2 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8, getting an 89.1 score against 83.3. Both phones we are comparing work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Huawei Mate X2 is a much newer cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 8, but it is just a bit thicker and incredibly heavier. Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate X2, although it has a lot smaller display, a just a little lower display pixel density and a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2248. Huawei Mate X2 shoots much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.

The Huawei Mate X2 has as much memory to store more apps and games as the Xiaomi Mi 8 one, both have exactly the same internal storage. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3400mAh.
