Xiaomi Mi 8 is a bit better than Huawei P Smart (2020), having an 83.3 score against 77.5. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body is a little thinner than Huawei P Smart (2020), but it's just a little heavier and was released around 23 months before. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has the previous 10 version while Huawei P Smart (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little more vivid screen than Huawei P Smart (2020), although it has a little bit worse quantity of pixels per screen inch and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels, they both have a same size display.
