Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro's overall score of 81.4. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body is a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Huawei P20 Pro, although both were released with only a couple months difference. Both phones in this comparison include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so both of them should count with very similar operating system features.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little faster CPU than Huawei P20 Pro. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little inferior pixel quantity in each display inch, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2248px resolution and a little bit bigger display.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a much better storage for games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei P20 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a F1.8 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a much bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and a much better 40 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Huawei P20 Pro counts with improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has an 18 percent larger battery size.
