The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a score of 83.3, which is a bit better than the Huawei P30 Pro's 82.1 global score. Xiaomi Mi 8's body is a little thinner and a bit lighter than Huawei P30 Pro, although it was released around 10 months before. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit better performance than Huawei P30 Pro. Both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a slightly better screen than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px, it also counts with a quite higher pixel count in each inch of display.
