Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is slightly better than LG V30S ThinQ's 82.5 overall score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version and LG V30S ThinQ has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, it must be told that it's also a just a bit thicker and just a little bit heavier cellphone.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with just a little better performance than LG V30S ThinQ. They have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. The LG V30S ThinQ has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater screen pixel density and a better 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution.
LG V30S ThinQ and Xiaomi Mi 8 both feature incredibly similar cameras, because although the LG V30S ThinQ has a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, it also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger camera aperture.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with just a little better battery duration than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity.
