Comparison review
Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a global score of 87.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8's score of 83.3. Even though the Motorola Edge 20 Lite is newer than Xiaomi Mi 8, it's a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a newer 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple additional features and performance enhancements.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better screen than Motorola Edge 20 Lite, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels density. Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a slightly better memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 20 Lite, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a really longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Motorola Edge 20 Lite features a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also counts with faster video frame rates and a way more megapixels camera.
