Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8, with an 86.3 score against 83.3. Motorola Edge 50 Pro's design is notably newer, but just a bit thicker and just a little heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 8. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has newer 14 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a quite bigger screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and way more brightness. Xiaomi Mi 8 has a much better performing CPU than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a way bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos, a lot higher 50 MP resolution camera and a way larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
