Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has an overall score of 83.3, which is slightly better than the Moto G 5G Plus's 82.6 score. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body is somewhat lighter and thinner than Moto G 5G Plus, although it was released many years before. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little better performance than Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels, a little bit smaller screen and a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen. Moto G 5G Plus shoots better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Moto G 5G Plus also has a much higher 48 mega pixels resolution camera, a lot bigger sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality and a bigger aperture.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features slightly more storage to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 47% more battery capacity.
