Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G31's general score of 77. Xiaomi Mi 8 is an noticeably older phone than Motorola Moto G31, but Xiaomi made it a little lighter and somewhat thinner. These phones include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has an older 10 version and Motorola Moto G31 has Android 11.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a slightly better screen than Motorola Moto G31, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2248 resolution, a quite inferior number of pixels per inch in the screen and a little smaller screen. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit superior processor than Moto G31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a slightly better storage for apps and games than Moto G31, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Moto G31 features a much better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
The Moto G31 captures clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Moto G31 also has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
