Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A8 (2018)'s 79.2 overall score. Although Xiaomi Mi 8 and the Galaxy A8 (2018) were released with only a couple months difference, Xiaomi Mi 8's construction is a little bit heavier but also just a little thinner. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a quite lower display density, it also counts with a little bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2248.
