Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 5's general score of 79.3. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has a more recent 10 version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction has the same thickness than Galaxy Note 5, but it is just a little bit heavier.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a greater performance than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 2 GB more RAM and more cpu cores. The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a better pixels density.
