Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition's 80.4 overall score. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction is newer and just a little thinner than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition's, although it's also a little heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition both count with quite similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a tinier camera aperture and a smaller back-facing camera sensor which offers a worse image and video quality, they both have the same video frame rate, the same video definition and a 12 mega-pixels back-facing camera.
