The Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note8, getting a score of 83.3 against 83. Xiaomi Mi 8 is a thinner and somewhat lighter phone than Samsung Galaxy Note8, although they were released with only 9 months difference. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a little bit bigger screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
