Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Sport, getting an 83.3 score against 77.8. Although the Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a bit heavier than the Galaxy S5 Sport, it's somewhat thinner and also noticeably newer. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has an older 10 version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2 version.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM and a greater number of faster cores. The Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with greater battery performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with lot less megapixels, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a bigger aperture for better low light images and videos.
