Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than Galaxy S9, with a overall score of 83.3 against 83.3. Although the Xiaomi Mi 8 and the Galaxy S9 were only released with a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi 8's design is just a little heavier but just a bit thinner. The Galaxy S9 has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S9 takes a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same resolution camera in the back and a 0.39 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rate and a bigger camera aperture to take better images in low light environments.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy S9, because it has a 13 percent more battery size.
