Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has an overall score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro's general score of 77.6. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has an older 10 version and Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has Android 12 version. Despite of the fact that the Xiaomi Mi 8 is way older than the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, it's body is incredibly thinner and noticeably lighter.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. Both have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2248px resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch.
The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has a greater memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro features longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
Xiaomi Mi 8 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a lot less MP back-facing camera, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also counts with a much bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
