Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5's 77.6 score. Although Xiaomi Mi 8 is noticeably newer than the Xperia Z5, it's somewhat heavier and a bit thicker. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 8 has newer 10 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, so it gives a lot of extra features and performance enhancements.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit superior CPU than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xperia Z5 features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia Z5, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. Xperia Z5 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality and a much higher resolution camera.
