Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has an overall score of 83.3, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's score of 79.8. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has newer 10 version and Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, giving you some extra features and increased performance. Xiaomi Mi 8's construction is newer, just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter than Xperia Z5 Premium.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit better processing unit than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also counts with a higher amount of RAM. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a much greater screen pixels density.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video quality, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features just a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 3430mAh battery size.
