Comparison review
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a general score of 84.4, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8's general score of 83.3. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra design is noticeably newer, but much heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has 14 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10 version, offering some nice extra features.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a way better hardware performance than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a little bigger screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 3200px, way more brightness and a better amount of pixels per screen inch.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra counts with as much storage capacity to install games and applications as Xiaomi Mi 8, they have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra counts with a way better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a larger sensor providing a better image quality, a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a bigger aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited situations and a lot better 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a really longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 47% more battery capacity.
