Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a general score of 88.3, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8's 83.3 global score. Xiaomi Black Shark 4's design is much newer, but extremely thicker and somewhat heavier than Xiaomi Mi 8. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a newer 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 has Android 10, so it gives you lots of additional features.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a quite lower pixels quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit larger display, way more brightness and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 takes way better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution, a way bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and faster video frame rates.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 32% greater battery capacity.
