Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, with a global score of 83.3 against 82.7. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is an older cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, but it's just a bit lighter and thinner anyway. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 operating system. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a little bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a brighter screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro's CPU is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 8's CPU, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video resolution and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also has faster video frame rates, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality photos and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
