Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8, having an 83.8 score against 83.3. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 design is just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Xiaomi Mi 8. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3's CPU is very similar to the processing unit in Xiaomi Mi 8, and although the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 count with quite similar displays, and although the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a little bit better display density, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bigger display, they both have the same screen brightness. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have a 0.39 inches back camera sensor, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also has a back-facing camera with more megapixels and higher video frame rate.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3's storage for apps and games is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 8's one, both of them have exactly the same 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
