Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a score of 83.3, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco X2's score of 79.3. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction is lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Poco X2, even though it was released just a little over a year before. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version and Xiaomi Poco X2 has Android 11.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Poco X2, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better quantity of pixels in each inch in the display. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Poco X2. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Xiaomi Poco X2 has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also counts with a much bigger sensor and a way higher resolution back camera. Xiaomi Mi 8 features much more storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has 192 GB more internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Poco X2 features superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 32 percent more battery capacity.
