Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, getting an 83.3 score against 77.2. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Although Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro were released with only a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi 8 is a little bit lighter and a little thinner.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. They have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels, it also counts with a bit brighter screen and a just a bit higher pixel count per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution and a 0.39 inches back camera sensor, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a much greater memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has greater battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has an 18% larger battery capacity.
