The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a little bit better than Huawei nova 5T, with an 81.4 score against 80.8. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei nova 5T has Android 10 version, so it gives some nice extra features and a performance increase. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a a little bit thinner and lighter device than the Huawei nova 5T, even though both were released with only a couple months difference.

Both of them have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a 0.5 inches camera sensor, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same resolution back camera.
