Huawei P40 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, with a score of 88.2 against 81.4. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the Huawei P40 Pro is newer than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, it's noticeably heavier and thicker.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a quite smaller display, a quite lower pixel quantity in each inch in the screen and a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution. Huawei P40 Pro features as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, both of them have equal internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Pro also has more RAM. Huawei P40 Pro counts with a really longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3070mAh.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a better resolution back facing camera, better 60 fps video frame rate and a lot larger camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs.
