Comparison review
The LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, having a general score of 84.3 against 81.4. LG G8 ThinQ is an a little heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both phones in our current comparison use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so both of them should give very similar operating system features.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have the same brightness, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a higher pixels amount in each inch in the display, a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a little bit larger display.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a way better resolution camera in the back.
The LG G8 ThinQ has a superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 14% bigger battery capacity.
