Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE's 81.4 overall score. Although it's the best device we are comparing, we must highlight that it's also a much thicker and way heavier device. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater screen pixels density, a brighter screen and a lot better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cores. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE captures much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality photos and videos and a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 3540mAh battery size instead of 3070mAh.
