Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting an 81.4 score against 78.1. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE body is extremely newer, a little lighter and a bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus. These phones come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it gives some additional features.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has 4 more cpu cores. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little bit larger screen, a little more pixels per inch of screen and a little brighter screen.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has as much storage capacity to install applications and games as the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, both of them have the same internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a way better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a lot better resolution back camera, a lot larger sensor and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and videos.
