Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A3, getting a score of 81.4 against 79.2. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a somewhat lighter and thinner device than the Xiaomi Mi A3, although both were only released with a couple of months difference. These phones use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi A3 has Android 11 version, so it gives you some additional features and enhanced performance.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi A3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater pixels amount per screen inch and a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE takes a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rate, a F1.8 aperture and a same resolution back camera, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a bigger camera sensor capturing higher quality photos and videos.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 has a very superior memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi A3 has better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 4030mAh battery capacity against 3070mAh.
