Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with an 81.4 score against 75.8. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a newer phone, and it's also a little thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version, providing the user a couple nice extra features.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a same size display, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a slightly better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a little bit greater count of pixels per inch in the display. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 30% bigger battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a lot better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera, a way better (4K) video quality and a larger diafragm aperture for better images in low-light situations.
