Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting an 81.4 score against 76.6. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but Xiaomi was able to build it lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Both phones we are comparing here have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also counts with a quite greater pixel count per inch in the display. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a little bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has 3 GB more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a 48 MP camera in the back, the same aperture and a same size back camera sensor, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a much better video quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3070mAh.
