Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20, getting an 83.2 score against 79.5. Although Xiaomi Mi 9 and Huawei Mate 20 were released with only 4 months difference, Xiaomi Mi 9 is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter. Huawei Mate 20 has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a little worse pixels density and a quite lower 1080 x 2244px resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display and a brighter display.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Huawei Mate 20 both feature very similar memory capacity for applications and games, both of them have equal internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 9 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has better video frame rates, a lot more megapixels camera in the back and a bigger camera sensor. The Huawei Mate 20 has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
