Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has an overall score of 83.2, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro's 82.9 general score. Even when the Xiaomi Mi 9 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro were released only a couple months apart, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is a little bit lighter and thinner. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have a same size screen, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and more pixels per inch of display.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features as much memory for applications and games as Xiaomi Mi 9, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. They have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photos, and they both have the same video resolution and a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with faster video frame rates and a camera in the back with more megapixels.
